. La prise de Constantinople par les Turcs en 1453 et décrit comme les historiens grecs, en raznomu traiter ces événements. Le seul témoin oculaire, G. Frandzen perçu la création catastrophique de l'union, mais a noté que les Grecs n'ont pas bylo alternatives. De grande importance est situé dans la traduction arménienne du Matenadaran le manuscrit unique Frandzen, où l'auteur décrit l'héroïsme du peuple grec. Témoin de la chute de Constantinople est M. Doukas, qui était le représentant de la branche latino. Il croyait que le seul moyen de l'union des Églises en opposition à la capture turc. Les représentants des courants turkofilskogo sont Kritovulos et L. Halkokondiles. La prise de Constantinople par les Turcs en 1453 a également été présenté par les historiens grecs, traiter cet incident différemment. Le seul témoin - G. Phrantzes considéré comme l'union des Eglises catholique et orthodoxe dangereux, mais il a mentionné que les Grecs n'ont pas d'autre choix. La traduction de l'œuvre par Phrantzes, conservés au Matenadaran, décrit le courage des Grecs. M. Dukas est un autre témoin de la chute de Constantinople, qui était pour les catholiques.
